</span>I did a lot se search and it all came down to newer versions of Linux<br>
kernel using kernel mode setting (KMS) enabled for radeon driver.<br>
Parabola uses newer Linux kernel versions too. In newer Linux kernel<br>
versions radeon and KMS work together or graphics do not work as per<br>
Arch Wiki:<br>

Parabola has diabled KMS bun gNewSense and Trisquel do not, I don't<br>
know why. Even the Parabola dual-boot CD has KMS disabled. But story<br>
does not end here. I am using Trisquel currently and I get nice X<br>
environment but when I try to run my own WM, by using startx, it fails<br>
with some error. It runs X only if X is already there (e.g. if some<br>
display manager) i.ei it runs X automtically or not. So I am stuck<br>
using automatic X sessions using lightdm and unable to use StumpWM :(<br>

I am sure X will start failing once gNewSense or Trisouel start using<br>
newer kernels in upcoming versions. Parabola is bleeding edge, so I<br>
came across problem quite fast.<br>

Only gNewSense work flawlessly for everything but its current version<br>
